• Responsible for smooth laundry operations and the operational efficiency of the guest laundry and linen room including staff uniform management and the service delivery of this area within budgeted guideline’s
• Detailing while handling delicate & expensive garments, Top notch product, 100% satisfaction of guests, care for fabrics, Zero defect product, Trials with new chemicals.
• Close coordination with the user departments for smooth laundry deliver of F&B Linen for outlets & banquets, Stain free uniforms for employees.
• Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all linen room and laundry systems
• Posses a complete knowledge of washing, spotting, starching, dry-cleaning and pressing techniques.
• Ensure that all items laundered and dry cleaned within the laundry are finished to the highest standard achievable and returned to the guests or staff in immaculate condition.
• Organize movement of dirty and clean laundry and the guest valet service.
• Ensure all damaged linen and uniforms are sent to the uniform room for repairs or discarding
• Control and record chemical consumption and reorder as required.
• Assist in maintaining records of stock and equipment.
• Ensure an accurate valet delivery.
• Ensure daily production records for linen and uniforms are maintained.
• Ensure that regular preventive maintenance is carried out and reduce downtime with proper coordination with the maintenance department.
• Oversee the implementation of linen room and laundry standards and procedures.
• Recommended changes to these standards and training needs on an ongoing basis.
