Urgently Required Business Development Manager for Well Known Company Dealing into Industrial Material Supply, Saudi Arabia.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify prospects and develop sales strategies from start to finish securing new business. Includes cold-calling, appointment setting, competitive analysis, pricing, coordination of presentations and proposals, in-office demonstrations, direct mail campaigns, and follow up activity.
• Development of New Prospects.
• Development of new suppliers and New Product ranges.
• Analyzes regional sales opportunities, prospective companies and associated buyers.
• Developing pricing and business development strategies that include preparing proposals, RFP responses and scheduling sales presentations, all in collaboration with sales persons working under him.
• Work with Management to plan, conduct, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Maintenance and manage all prospects in an electronic database as specified by company
• Follows-up on referrals and self generated leads to identify buyer influences and any timing issues; monitors prospects’ contract calendars; prepares reports on status of leads and other reports as required
• Participates in trade associations, trade shows and networking events
• Solicit orders from, and makes sales presentations to prospective customers by setting qualified appointments on a weekly basis in order to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goal.
• Negotiate terms of sales, contract wording, timing of implementation, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

• We are seeking an experienced and proven self starter that is driven by results. Being a new company the suitable candidate needs to possess the following prerequisite skills:
• Engineering background, with at least 5 years of experience in sales and an additional 5 years in business development.
• Ability to call on the highest levels of decision makers in an organization with confidence for the areas represented (e.g., Director, VP, CFO, Manager, etc.)
• Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline oriented environment.
• Self-motivated individual who exhibits a sense of urgency in all sales and service related activity.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills. Strong emphasis on the ability to listen and present appropriate solutions.
• Local/international travel is required for this position.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Ability to manage a team with proven track record to do so.
• Understanding of how to develop and implement business strategies
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and proposal writing
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard
• Neat and professional appearance
• Friendly and professional attitude
