Urgently required Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle) for a well reputed company at Maldives.
Location: Maldives
Experience – 5 yrs
Age : 25 to 35 yrs
Qualification : Any Diploma in Mechanical
Desirable Qualification:
• Skills and knowledge on workplace occupational health and safety requirements, work process and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-starter, energetic, assertive
• Should have problem solving ,planning and organizing skills
• Able to work long hours
• Able to write formal technical reports.
• Able to supervise and manage a technical team
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and with a commitment to team work
Job Responsibility:
• Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel and petrol/gas-powered vehicles, including excavators, trucks ,Forklifts, crane and other earth moving equipments.
• Detect mechanical and electrical faults by using instruments that check charging and starting circuitry, batteries, ignition and ignition timing, fuel injection systems and speed control, cylinder compression, engine condition, braking efficiency and wheel balance and alignment.
• Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines.
• Use oxygen,electric,TIG and MIG welding,hand fitting or machining process to replace or repair faulty parts.
• Repair pneumatic system of vehicles
