SUBJECT : Urgently Required Bridges & tunnels Engineer for South Africa
Location : South Africa
Experience : 5-8 yrs

• Ensure the client’s objectives, programmes and budgets are achieved particularly in regard to core milestone targets
• Maintaining high technical standards consistent with the project brief
• Managing and mentoring Assistant Project Engineers
• Supervising and coordinating the work of others
• Resolve technical issues in consultation with their line manager
• Production of technical and project reports
• Compliance with and application of relevant Health and Safety Legislation particularly CDM regulations
• Liaise with and report to the BST Design Team Leader on programme delivery, resources
• Attend in-house management meetings and meetings with the client
• Production of budgetary, technical and project reports
• Carry out structural designs from feasibility to detailed design stage in accordance with Euorcode and other related departmental Bridge Directives (BD’s) and Advice Notes (BA’s)
• Carry out structural assessments in accordance with the various departmental Bridge Directives,
• Advice Notes and assessment standards
• Provide technical support and assistance to engineers and technicians
• Comply with Amey’s QA and financial systems and Health & Safety procedure relating to project work
• Liaison with the client representative, sub-contractors, contractors, other Third Parties and the general public as directed by your line manager,
• Provide best methods and practices to meet technical and project requirements
