SUBJECT : Urgently Required Safety Officer/Engineer in Abu Dhabi
Location : Abu Dhabi
Experience : 5 to 7 yrs
Job Responsibilities:
• To provide technical support to all facility departments relating to Health, Safety, Environment, Training and Security.
• To oversee and ensure safe work practices and procedures are being followed in the plant and administration areas.
• To ensure that all employees and contractors are trained and comply with all safety, health and environmental issues.
• To provide and ensure that all pertinent communications on safety, health and environmental issues are made available to all employees and contractors.
• To perform inspections and audits to ensure that the facility is free of hazardous conditions and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• To provide leadership in all emergency preparedness training and planning.
• To be a technical resource on all Health, Safety and Environment issues for all employees and contractors.
• To support the Operations Department with their Process Technician Progression and Training program.
• To provide assistance to the Facility Security Department.
• To perform and ensure that new employees and contractors are given the appropriate safety, health and environment orientation.
• Conduct safety equipment inspections and rectify all maintenance and operability issues.
• Provide membership and support to the plant safety committee and incident investigation teams.
• Ensure all various Singapore Legislation is complied with throughout the Facility.
Salary : negotiable for right candidates.
