Designation Solar Engineer
Location: OMAN
Experience: 8-10 yrs
Job Responsibility:
1. Knowledge and creativity to generate preliminary photovoltaic (PV) system design.
2. Perform thermal, stress, or cost reduction analyses for solar systems.
3. Technical competency within the Solar System which reflects technology and changes in the solar industry.
4. Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation work.
5. Develop electrical and structural designs for large scale solar electric systems.
6. Design or develop vacuum tube collector systems for solar applications.
7. Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
8. Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems.
9. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
10. Create plans for solar energy system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
11. Getting Information - Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
12. Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
