Designation Highways Engineer
Location: SAUDI ARABIA
Experience: 5-7 yrs
Job Responsibility:
Assists the Senior Highway Engineer in all aspects of project management functions including scope, budgets and delivery for a variety of projects.
To allocate tasks to other members of the Highways Team and monitor progress.
To monitor the designs produced to ensure they meet the design briefs set by the Delivery Teams.
To ensure designs are appropriate and meet the expected levels of technical excellence.
Monitor and analysis current road construction and road systems.
Designing new road layouts and traffic flow systems using Design Highways software packages including CAD / AutoCAD
To prepare designs, reports, specifications and other deliverables for highways schemes.
Comprised of design, survey and construction inspection personnel.
Interfaces with the Project Manager to determine schedules and monitor design progress.
Provides technical guidance to the Design Team and other Engineers working on the same project.
Designing new road layouts and traffic flow systems using Design Highways software packages including CAD / AutoCAD.
Review of quality test reports for structural works; received from Sub-contractors quality laboratory.
Co-ordination with Design Consultant / Independent Engineer / Project Management Consultant .and other stack holder for project for day to day basis.
Co-ordination with Project Manager / Asst. Project Manager / Planning Section / Design Consultant for timely delivery of drawing as per site condition to the sub-contractor.
