Designation: Personnel Manager / HR Manager

Location: Mumbai

Experience : Min. 5 Years
Job Description :-
1. Coaching managers on performance issues and process
2. Providing guidance on developments for managers and their team members
3. Implementing the training and development agenda; identifying area that need attention and improvement
4. Managing talent and succession planning, taking overall responsibility for recruitment activities and campaigns
5. In conjunction with the personnel manager to ensure the company procedures are up to date and in line with local employment requirements
6. Dealing with complex disciplinary/grievance and personnel issues, using personnel and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills
7. crafting of business and people solutions and able to manage priorities between case work and projects
8. Administer compensation, benefits and performance systems and safety and healthy programs
9. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives
10. Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel – related data such as hire, transfers, performance appraisals and absenteeism rates
11. Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization’s personnel policies and practice
12. Negotiating bargaining agreements and help interpret labour contracts
13. Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs
14. Prepare and follow budget for personnel operations
Personal Specification:
1. Must speak English, one local Indian language.
2. relevant degree
3. at least 5 years personnel experience in India and/or middle east
4. In depth understanding of India and middle east employment law
5. computer literate, well verse of people soft and Taleo system
6. Flexible and can do attitude and self motivate
7. confident directing personnel and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development
8. outstanding organization skills, with excellent understanding of how the organization operates, its business requirements and commercial objectives
9. strong analytical skills
10. a commercial and professional approach to personnel, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals
11. Superb communication skills honed in business partnering/advisory roles
12. Diplomatic and tact (able to deal with difficult situations)
